Level 0 is 2 abilities (no talents). Higher levels add Action Points to spend on abilities or talents — from ANY of your jobs. Mastery points arrive at levels 3, 7, 10 and 12, plus 4 and 8 when you keep the same jobs; each buys one ability's Mastery. At levels 4 and 8 you may instead pick up a NEW JOB (+2 ability points): its abilities, talents and masteries join your list under a tab of its own. Once you multiclass, you can hold at most 6 abilities in total, and at least half must match your primary job's class.
